1. About tx

tx ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile application operated under the domain txapp.in that connects patients with verified medical professionals for home visits, audio consultations, and video consultations. tx is a technology platform and is not itself a medical service provider.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use tx. Minors may use the platform only with a registered parent or legal guardian account.
• Doctors must be registered medical practitioners and must provide valid medical registration certificates for verification.
• Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

3. Doctor Verification

All doctors on tx are required to submit their medical registration certificate for verification before their profile goes live. tx reviews these documents and reserves the right to suspend or remove any doctor profile that does not meet verification standards. Verification does not constitute endorsement by tx.

4. Appointment Booking & Payments

• Patients must pay the full consultation fee at the time of booking.
• Doctors set their own fees independently for each type of service: home visits, audio consultations, and video consultations.
• All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
• Upon successful completion of a consultation, 6% of the consultation fee is retained as a platform fee, and the remaining amount is released to the doctor.
• If a consultation is not completed or is cancelled, the patient receives a refund of the consultation fee minus a 3% payment processing charge.

6. In-App Chat

Doctors and patients may communicate via the in-app chat feature for the duration of the appointment. Chat communications are subject to our Privacy Policy. The chat feature must not be used to share illegal content, harass other users, or conduct activities outside the scope of the consultation.

7. Medical Disclaimer

tx is a platform connecting patients and doctors. We are not a medical service provider. Consultations conducted via tx do not replace emergency medical care. In the case of a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

tx does not validate the medical advice, prescriptions, or diagnoses provided by doctors on the platform. Users engage with doctors at their own informed discretion.

8. User Responsibilities

• Patients must provide accurate medical history and information during consultations.
• Doctors must provide consultations in compliance with applicable medical laws and ethics.
• Both parties must treat each other with respect. Abusive behaviour is grounds for immediate account suspension.
• You must not use tx for any unlawful purpose.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

tx reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users. In such cases, pending payments may be withheld pending investigation.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology on the tx app is the intellectual property of tx. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, tx is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any medical advice received via consultations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of tx after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email.
